FKA Twigs (real name Tahliah Barnett) is a British avant-garde R&B singer, dancer, songwriter, and disturbing video producer. “Twigs” because of the way her joints crack when dancing. “FKA” because Linda and Laura Good have performed as the Twigs since the 90s and hold a trademark on the name. Most of her lyrics are filled with obscenities but you won’t know it because she sings with a pronounced accent at a frequency range slightly below a dog whistle. Not that that’s a bad thing.
